2009년 한국일보 신춘문예를 통해 작품활동을 시작했다. 소설집 『센티멘털도 하루 이틀』, 『너무 한낮의 연애』, 『오직 한 사람의 차지』, 『우리는 페퍼로니에서 왔어』, 장편소설 『경애의 마음』, 『복자에게』, 중편소설 『나의 사랑, 매기』, 연작소설 『크리스마스 타일』, 짧은 소설 『나는 그것에 대해 아주 오랫동안 생각해』, 산문집 『사랑 밖의 모든 말들』 등이 있다. 신동엽문학상, 젊은작가상 대상, 현대문학상, 우현 예술상, 김승옥문학상 대상, 오늘의 젊은 예술가상 등을 수상했다.
Kim Keum Hee made her literary debut in 2009 by winning the Hankook Ilbo’s Annual Spring Literary Contest. She is the author of many books, including the short-story collections Sentimentality Works Only for a Day or Two, Too Bright Outside for Love, Only One Person’s Possession, We’re from Pepperoni, Christmas Tile, the full-length novel Kyungae’s Heart, Dear Bokja, Maegi, My Love, the novella I Will Think About That for a Very Long Time, and the collection of essays Every Word but Love. She has been the recipient of many awards, including the Shin Dong-yup Prize for Literature, the Munhakdongne Young Writers’ Award, the Contemporary Literature Prize, the Kim Seung-ok Literary Award, Today’s Young Artist Awards, and the 13th annual Woohyun Award for Art.
