1984년 경기도 광명시에서 태어났다. 2013년 《작가세계》 신인상을 수상하며 데뷔하였다. 지은 책으로 소설집 『쇼코의 미소』, 『내게 무해한 사람』, 『아주 희미한 빛으로도』, 장편소설 『밝은 밤』, 짧은 소설집 『애쓰지 않아도』 등이 있다.
Choi Eunyoung was born in 1984 in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province. She made her literary debut in 2013 when she won the Writer’s World New Writers Award. She has published the short-story collections Shoko’s Smile, Someone Harmless to Me, Without Effort, Even in the Faintest Light and the novel Bright Night.
