2013년 《문학과사회》 신인문학상을 통해 작품 활동을 시작했다. 소설집 『내가 싸우듯이』, 『우리는 다른 사람들의 기억에서 살 것이다』, 연작소설집 『땅거미 질때 샌디에이고에서 로스앤젤레스로 운전하며 소형 디지털 녹음기에 구술한, 막연히 LA/운전 시들이라고 생각하는 작품들의 모음』, 중편소설 『…스크롤!』, 장편소설 『모든 것은 영원했다』, 산문집 『당신을 위한 것이나 당신의 것은 아닌』, 『스페이스 (논)픽션』 등 이 있다. 2018년 베니스 건축 비엔날레 한국관 작가로 참여했으며 젊은작가상 대상, 문지문학상, 김현문학패를 수상했다.
Jung Jidon debuted in 2013 by winning Literature and Society’s New Writers’ Award. His publications include the short-story collections As I Fight, We Shall Survive in the Memories of Others, A Loose Collection of Works Thought to Be LA or Driving Poems Dictated to a Small Digital Recorder While Driving from San Diego to Los Angeles at Dusk, the novella …Scroll!, the novel Everything was Eternal, and the essay collections Something That’s for You but Not Yours and SPACE (NON)FICTION. He was an artist for the Korean Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale and has been the recipient of many prizes, including the Young Writers’ Award Grand Prize , the Moonji Literature Prize, and the Kim Hyun Prize.
