Bak Solmay Novelist South Korea
Born in 1985, Bak Solmay began her literary career in 2009, winning the Jaeum & Moeum New Writer’s Award. Her works include short story anthologies Then What Shall We Sing?, Winter’s Gaze, and Beloved Dog, and the fulllength novels Eul, I Want to Write a Hundred Lines, Time in the City, and Slowly Head First. Her primary motifs are space and memory. She has a fondness for summer and summer imagery.
